This one day professional development workshop is set up to offer information, insight and inspiration to Florida’s music educators as you enter the summer planning months. Although getting your rest and quality family and friend time is top priority during the summer, it is never too early to plan for the upcoming year. We hope with this workshop, teachers will be introduced and/or reacquainted with teaching strategies and networks that will assist in the expansion and enhancement of music education throughout our state.
The workshop will take place on Thursday June 17th at Ocoee High School in Ocoee (Orange County) from 10 am – 4 pm. The address to Ocoee High School is 1925 Ocoee Crown Point Pkwy. Ocoee, Fl. 34761.
The workshop will begin in the band room with registration from 9:30 to 10:00 AM. This will be followed by several sessions for all music educators and will conclude at 4 PM. This year we really on to focus on the question; How relevant is your program, at your school and within your community? The sessions are designed to show you music programs that can be implemented to any school (regardless of age), as well as strategies and best practices for enhancing what you already have. Our Session presenters include:
There will be something for everyone, so come out and join us. We will also have special DOOR PRIZES to conclude the day!
