The FMEA Summer Institute is now the Teach Music Florida Coalition, an inspiring multi-day professional development training involving a relatively small think-tank of well-respected music educators convening to develop strategies for addressing the music teacher shortage in Florida.
The Teach Music Florida Coalition, part of the Teach Music Coalition developed by music industry partners to respond to the teacher shortage by finding resources and solutions to the immediate, short-term term, and longer-term challenges facing the music educator workforce, working to retain, shepherd, and recruit the next generation of music educators.
